Nick Dodson came to prominence following the release of Parallels second album XII in late 2012. He is best known as the drummer for Parallels, the Toronto based sythn-pop group. Nick is currently developing Yipoh, an online ticking and registration service. He is also the founder of Shadow State Inc. a media development firm based out of Toronto.

Born in December of the early 90s, Nick developed his musicianship while being both taught and inspired by his father Rich Dodson and sister Holly Dodson. Rich Dodson most well known as the lead singer of '70s Canadian rock trio The Stampeders with their mega hit "Sweet City Woman" which went to number one in 1971 for six weeks on the Billboard top 100's. Holly Dodson most well know for being the lead singer of Parallels.

After the 2012 Parallels 40 date U.S.A tour, Nick returned to the Toronto scene performing with band mate Artem Galperine in their side project while also attending the prestigious University of Toronto majoring in philosophy and economics. Artem and Nick continue to develop music both in their side project and with Parallels and hope to be releasing an EP this summer in early 2013.
